The density of the test piece is obtained from the standard test piece produced. The higher the density, the higher the proportion of silica sand in the surface wet molding sand, the better the refractoriness, and the lower the density, which means that the proportion of other additives is higher. Demand will also increase.

• Compactability,aka CB

  Wet sand molding needs to have a certain compressibility, that is, compaction rate, which is directly related to moisture (as shown in the figure below), and its value and moisture content need to be balanced and managed according to production conditions.
